Impact Stories
Meet Cami
Cami was a remarkable young individual whose strength, resilience, and optimism left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Despite living with a rare blood disorder from birth, Cami approached life with grace, determination, and a joyful spirit. Through her involvement with Superhero Kids and participation in Camp Rocky Ridge, she found meaningful connection, community, and a sense of belonging among peers facing similar challenges. These experiences provided Cami with moments of freedom, understanding, and empowerment that extended far beyond medical care. We honor Cami’s life, legacy, and enduring courage as a true Superhero Kid.
Meet Parker
Parker’s journey is one of extraordinary resilience and strength. Diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor at a young age, Parker endured multiple surgeries, months of radiation, and nearly a year of chemotherapy with unwavering determination. Supported by his family and care team, he faced each challenge one day at a time—emerging cancer-free and stronger than ever. Today, Parker’s story stands as a powerful reminder of the courage young heroes carry and the life-changing impact of compassionate care and community support. Armed with his indomitable spirit and superhero courage, Parker truly “kicked cancer out the door.”
