How Your Donation Helps

How Your Donation Helps

100% Transparency. 100% Impact.

At Superhero Kids, 100% of donations directly support children and families receiving care at the Children’s Blood and Cancer Center (CBCC) of Central Texas. Every gift—no matter the amount—helps ease the financial, emotional, and practical burdens families face during treatment.

We believe donors deserve to know exactly how their support is used, which is why we prioritize transparency and real-time impact. Donations can also be made in honor of or in memory of someone special.

Direct Family Support

Your generosity helps families cover essential, non-medical expenses that are often unexpected and not reimbursed by insurance, including:

  • Housing assistance
  • Home repairs
  • Utilities
  • Food and living expenses
  • Transportation to and from treatment
  • School supplies and clothing
  • Essential medical equipment and prosthetics not covered by insurance

When treatment requires a parent to stop working or a child to be isolated from school and daily life, these costs quickly add up. Superhero Kids exists to ensure families don’t have to face these challenges alone.

Why It Matters

Cancer and blood disorder diagnoses bring unexpected financial strain and profound emotional challenges. Families cannot prepare for the costs that accompany long-term treatment, isolation, and recovery.

That is why Superhero Kids exists.
To stand beside families when they need it most—and to ensure children in treatment remain our highest priority.
